The day started out with some rain in the area but the sun came out, light breeze, and beautiful day for pulling. We had 11 pullers in attendance.

Thank you Cheryl and Sandy for running the tech table, Jay for hosting, and everyone else who helped judge and clean track.

There was quite a turnout of pullers for the Iowa State Fair. We had 27 Pullers from IA, KS, NE, WI, MO, IN, and MN. Not only did we have a great turnout, we need to commend those who made the treck to KY, then to OH, and ending the long weekend in Iowa. They are some real troopers and this is part of what makes this a fun competition across the country.

The day started out with rain just prior to everyone needing to setup and made for a muggy time during the firat potion of the classes with the himidity dropping off later. With so many pullers, Jim made a wise decision to announce several days prior to the pull date to start 30 minutes early, starting at 9:30am instead of 10am. After a very hot week, the temps cooled down for a very nice day of tractor pulling. There were 9 pullers from IA, MN, and KS. Would like to welcome and congratulate a new puller, Garret Bitker for attending and pulling in the 5 Lb. Pro-Stock class, placing 6th out of 12. Did't quite make the top five but did really well. Thank you to all who helped setup, tear down, judge, and tech. Here are the results:

Saturday June 21st was the day some of the pullers in our association traveled to Lathrop Mo for the Micro mini tractor pull and for me and Gretchen it was a long time coming. What a day it was 100 degree heat and windy but with fans plugged in and fans in the stands and red hot pulling here are the results
